Day 5 10.5.2019 Build
Little happy construction bot. This little guy had many iterations before I decided on this little builder. From large industrial bot in a factory to weird monolith thing. Should never always be the first idea if it doesn't feel right. try and try again i suppose. Nothing really special with behind the mind as i created him. Just a happy little bot i enjoyed creating.
Day 4 10.4.2019 Freeze
The king of the frozen undead seemed to be suitable for freeze. Always seem to have fun when I turn something into a fantasy related character. Not everyday you get to see a walking corpse with his frozen heart and a off-hand charm. Was pretty straight forward during my creative process. I knew what I wanted to create and went with it from start to finish. I have always enjoyed using color in these ink drawings traditional and digital to just ad some visual interest. Not to much to distract but enough to help support the piece as a whole.
Day 3 10.3.2019 Bait
Clearly Bait is done a bit different than my normal style, but that comes down to time. For some crazy reason all that could come to my head for this damn prompt was a worm on a hook. Now I'm not saying anything is wrong with that idea for the prompt but for me I wanted to do something that didn't come strait to mind. I still liked the hook idea but decided on a fisherman like merman race of sharks who are excellent fisherman, but have horrible people skills. Although time became an issue in finding a happy end result I can say I'm very happy how this fellow turned out.
Day 2 10.2.2019 Ring
A Fungus Among Us...Was a little mindless myself for this one. Saw a lot of other fantastic work of the dumb face look stuff flowing from the the eyes almost dead looking. So , I decided that full on zombie knight mode with a fungus turning him to a mindless dregs. Nothing was really out of the ordinary this time while creating. Had some calm chill music probably more distractions than the previous night, but a result I'm happy with. Time to think about Day 3. Till then!
Day 1 10.1.2019 Ring
Taking this blog part a bit different than before. instead of just the explanation of the image I decided to talk about the experience of creating from start to finish. From the use of tool how I felt creating, and finally any big changes. What was different this year when it comes to inktober 2019? Big thing is Digital Work instead of Traditional. Why? I have many reason of why I wanted to create digitally this go around. Largest reason for me had to be change of experience. Instead of using up physical materials and potentially running out of something. It will be different this year for sure, but a change looking forward to and happy for doing.
